Inspection and testing of commercially-used weights and measures. The director shall have the power to inspect and test, to ascertain if they are correct, all weights and measures commercially used, kept, offered, or exposed for sale, and to determine the weight, measurement, or count of commodities or things sold, or offered or exposed for sale, on the basis of weight, measure or of count. The inspection, testing, and determinations here provided for shall be done under a schedule to be drawn up by the director.
