FIRE ESCAPES AND DOORS
39-1902. How attached. Such metallic, iron or fireproof ladders, if used, must connect with each floor above the first, and be well fastened and secure and of sufficient strength, and must extend from the first story to the upper stories of such building or to the cornice thereof.
