                            IDAHO SAFE BOATING ACT
    67-7014.  ADMINISTRATIVE FEES FOR VESSELS. (1) An administrative fee of
not more than one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) may be collected in addition
to each vessel license tax collected under the provisions of section 67-7008,
Idaho Code.
    (2)  When an assessor collects the fees, the administrative fee shall be
paid to the county treasurer where the vessel is licensed and be placed in the
county current expense fund for the purpose of defraying related
administrative costs. The amount of the administrative fee to be collected by
an assessor for each vessel shall be set by the respective boards of county
commissioners conditioned on the annual budget request of their county
assessor for the administration of vessel registration fees.
    (3)  When an authorized vendor collects the fees, the administrative fee
shall be set and retained by the authorized vendor where the vessel is
registered. The administrative fee shall be used to defray related
administrative costs.
