    67-2016.  STATE CONTROLLER'S CIVIL LIABILITY. For the proper performance
of the duties herein enjoined upon the state controller, as secretary of the
state board of examiners, or for any unlawful or irregular payment of any
account submitted against the state, the state controller is hereby made
responsible upon his official bond.
