    67-409.  ATTENDANCE OF WITNESSES -- REFUSAL TO OBEY SUBPOENA A CONTEMPT.
If any witness neglects or refuses to obey such subpoena, or appearing,
refuses to testify, or produce the subpoenaed documents or other materials,
the senate or house may, by resolution entered on the journal, cite the
witness for contempt.  It shall be the duty of the district court, upon
application of the presiding officer of the house resolving to cite the
witness for contempt, to compel obedience by proceedings for contempt, as in
the case of disobedience of the requirements of a subpoena issued from the
court or the refusal to testify or produce documents or other materials in
court.
