2005 Idaho Code - 54-1502 — LICENSE A PREREQUISITE TO PRACTICE
TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES CHAPTER 15 OPTOMETRISTS 54-1502. LICENSE A PREREQUISITE TO PRACTICE. It is unlawful for any person to practice optometry unless he shall obtain a license to do so as provided in this chapter. Any person who shall practice or attempt to practice optometry, as defined in this chapter, without having at the time of so doing a valid license to practice optometry issued by the state board of optometry shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person licensed under another chapter of Idaho Code to perform these functions shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter. An optician lawfully practicing within the state of Idaho is not in violation of the provisions of this chapter.
