2005 Idaho Code - 54-1112 — REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENT TRAINEE LICENSE

                                  CHAPTER 11
                        MORTICIANS, FUNERAL DIRECTORS
                                AND EMBALMERS
    54-1112.  REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENT TRAINEE LICENSE. The board shall issue
to any person a resident trainee license to practice as a resident trainee and
perform services at a particular establishment under the personal supervision
of a specified licensed mortician within the state of Idaho who has complied
with and fulfilled all of the following requirements:
    (1)  Has attained the age of eighteen (18) years, and is a resident of the
state of Idaho.
    (2)  Is of good moral character.
    (3)  Has graduated from an accredited high school or has received an
equivalent education as determined by the standards set and established by the
state board of education.
    (4)  Has filed an application with the board as required by this chapter
and paid the required filing fee. Provided further, that the board shall make
the determination of qualifications of all applicants within a reasonable time
after the filing of an application with the board. Provided further, no person
shall be eligible to be licensed as a resident trainee who has practiced as a
resident trainee or apprentice for a total cumulative period of more than two
(2) years in the state of Idaho.
