2005 Idaho Code - 54-916A — DENTAL HYGIENE APPLICANTS LICENSED IN OTHER STATES

                                  CHAPTER 9
                                   DENTISTS
    54-916A.  DENTAL HYGIENE APPLICANTS LICENSED IN OTHER STATES. The board
may issue a license to applicants licensed to practice dental hygiene in
another state upon evidence that:
    (1)  The applicant is currently an active dental hygienist who holds a
valid license in another state.
    (2)  The applicant has been licensed for at least one (1) year and the
hygienist has practiced a minimum of one thousand (1,000) hours in the two (2)
years immediately preceding the date of application.
    (3)  No disciplinary proceeding or unresolved complaint is pending at the
time a license is to be issued by this state.
    (4)  The applicant has successfully completed a clinical examination which
is at least equivalent to that required by this state, as determined by the
board.
