2005 Idaho Code - 54-601 — PURPOSES OF THE ACT

                    PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES

                                 PODIATRISTS
    54-601.  PURPOSES OF THE ACT. The practice of podiatry in the state of
Idaho is hereby declared to affect the public health, safety and welfare and
to be subject to regulation and control in the public interest. It is further
declared to be a matter of public interest and concern that the profession of
podiatry merit and receive the confidence of the public, and to that end that
only qualified persons be permitted to practice podiatry in the state of
Idaho. This act shall be liberally construed to carry out these objects and
purposes.
