2005 Idaho Code - 54-316 — FOREIGN PARTNERSHIP AND CORPORATE PRACTICE

                                  ARCHITECTS
    54-316.  FOREIGN PARTNERSHIP AND CORPORATE PRACTICE. 1. A foreign
partnership or a foreign corporation may be allowed to practice architecture
through an individual in this state if prior to any such practice it
establishes to the board that:
    a.  All the partners of a partnership or all the shareholders of a
    professional corporation are licensed under the laws of any state either
    to practice architecture or to provide allied professional services as
    defined in section 30-1303, Idaho Code; and
    b.  One-third (1/3) of the partners of a partnership or one-third (1/3) of
    the shareholders of a professional corporation are licensed under the laws
    of any state to practice architecture; and
    c.  The individual having the practice of architecture in his charge and
    through whom the corporation or partnership is practicing in this state is
    himself a partner or a shareholder,  his ownership interest is equal to or
    greater than one (1) divided by the number of partners in the case of
    partnerships, or one (1) divided by the number of shareholders in the case
    of a corporation, and he is licensed to practice architecture in this
    state.
    2.  The provisions of this section shall not apply to foreign partnerships
or foreign corporations authorized under chapter 13, title 30, Idaho Code, or
other provisions of law, to do business in this state prior to the effective
date of this act.
