                                  TITLE  51
                               NOTARIES PUBLIC
                          AND COMMISSIONERS OF DEEDS
                                  CHAPTER 1
                           IDAHO NOTARY PUBLIC ACT
    51-106.  SEAL. (1) Each notary public whose current commission became
effective prior to July 1, 1998, shall provide and keep an official seal which
shall conform to one (1) of the following configurations:
    (a)  A seal embosser engraved with the words "Notary Public," the notary
    public's name, and the words "State of Idaho."
    (b)  A rubber stamp with a serrated or milled edge border in rectangular
    or circular form, which contains the same information required for the
    seal embosser.
    (2)  Each notary public whose current commission became effective on or
after July 1, 1998, shall provide and keep an official seal which shall be a
rubber stamp with a serrated or milled edge border in a rectangular or
circular form, which includes the words "Notary Public," the notary public's
name, the words "State of Idaho," and nothing more.
    (3)  The seal shall be impressed below or near the notary public's
official signature on each notary certificate which he administers.
