                  STATEWIDE COMMUNICATIONS INTEROPERABILITY
    46-1207.  ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT. [EFFECTIVE UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2012] The
council may, with concurrence of the governor of the state of Idaho, create
the position of a project manager and the position of an administrative
assistant, which positions shall be exempt from the requirements of the merit
system, chapter 53, title 67, Idaho Code. In accordance with the laws of the
state, the Idaho bureau of homeland security's director may hire, fix the
compensation and prescribe the powers and duties of such other individuals,
including consultants, as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this
chapter.
