                             POWERS AND DUTIES OF
                              BOARD OF DIRECTORS
    43-326.  POWER TO MAINTAIN PARKS. The board of directors of any irrigation
district shall have the power to maintain public parks and recreation grounds
for the benefit of the people of the district and may set aside for this
purpose, land belonging to the district, including land acquired by the
district from sale for delinquent water assessments. The district shall have
the power to purchase land, or to acquire land by lease, within the district
for public parks and recreation ground. In the maintenance of said grounds,
the board of directors may construct buildings and provide facilities for
recreation purposes and may receive gifts and donations of either real or
personal property for the purposes hereinbefore enumerated.
