2005 Idaho Code - 41-1845 — RECREATIONAL-RELATED ACTIVITIES

                                  CHAPTER 18
                            THE INSURANCE CONTRACT
    41-1845.  RECREATIONAL-RELATED ACTIVITIES. (1) No company providing health
insurance benefits may:
    (a)  Deny health care coverage to any individual based solely on that
    individual's casual or nonprofessional participation in the following
    activities: motorcycling, snowmobiling, off-highway vehicle riding,
    skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding or similar activities; or
    (b)  Exclude medical benefits under health care coverage to any covered
    individual based solely on that individual's casual or nonprofessional
    participation in the following activities: motorcycling, snowmobiling,
    off-highway vehicle riding, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding or
    similar activities.
    (2)  Nothing in this section shall preclude, alter or otherwise affect the
subrogation rights of companies providing health insurance benefits.
