AUTHORIZATION OF INSURERS
AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
41-320. CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION. An application for a certificate of
authority shall be examined by the director, and if he finds the application
to be complete and that the documents included therewith are otherwise in
proper order, he shall forward the applicant insurer's articles of
incorporation and by-laws, if any, or copy of the power of attorney if a
reciprocal insurer, and the insurer's appointment of the director as process
agent to the attorney general for examination. The attorney general shall
examine the documents, and if found by him to be in accordance with the
requirements of this code and not inconsistent with the constitution of this
state he shall so certify in an opinion to the director.
