                         THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE
    41-287.  APPLICATION OF PROVISIONS ADOPTED BY NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF
INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS. The department may not require an insurer to comply
with any rule, regulation, directive or standard adopted by the national
association of insurance commissioners unless application of the rule,
regulation, directive or standard, including policy reserves, is authorized by
statute and implemented by the director pursuant to chapter 52, title 67,
Idaho Code. This section shall not expand or restrict the general powers and
authority of the director as set forth in section 41-210, Idaho Code.
