                          CONTROL OF SHEEP DISEASES
    25-141D.  CREATION OF SHEEP AND GOAT DISEASE INDEMNITY FUND. There is
hereby created within the department of agriculture a state board of sheep
commissioners account to be known as the sheep and goat disease indemnity
fund. funds may be received into this account from any source including, but
not limited to, donations, gifts, grants, federal funds, sheep commission
funds, or appropriations from general or dedicated accounts. Moneys received
into this account shall be deposited with the state treasurer to the credit of
the sheep and goat disease indemnity fund. Moneys deposited into this account
may only be used to indemnify owners whose animals or herds have been
condemned or destroyed or otherwise disposed of by direction of the board, and
for property destroyed, for labor employed in digging trenches, and for
cleaning and disinfecting of premises where infected or exposed sheep and
goats have been kept.
