482E. Franchise Investment Law
482E-10.5 Civil penalty.

[§482E-10.5] Civil penalty. (a) The director may bring an action to recover a civil penalty against any person who violates this chapter or who has knowingly violated a rule or order made pursuant to this chapter. A civil penalty of not more than $100,000 may be assessed.

(b) No civil action may be brought under this chapter later than five years subsequent to the date of the violation or two years subsequent to the discovery of facts constituting the violation, but in no event shall any civil action be brought later than seven years subsequent to the date of the violation.
