§246-59 Same; postponement of sale, etc. If at the time appointed for the sale the tax collector shall deem it expedient and for the interest of all persons concerned therein to postpone the sale of any property or properties for want of purchasers, or for other sufficient cause the tax collector may postpone it from time to time, until the sale shall be completed, giving notice of every such adjournment by a public declaration thereof at the time and place last appointed for the sale; provided that the sale of any property may be abandoned at the time first appointed or any adjourned date, if no proper bid is received sufficient to satisfy the lien, together with all interest, penalties, costs, expenses, and charges.
