Pursuant to Code Section 28-9-5, in 2018, Chapter 39, as enacted by Ga. L. 2018, p. 629, § 6-1/SB 402, was redesignated as Chapter 40.

Editor’s notes.

Ga. L. 2026, p. 924, § 1-2/HB 297, effective May 12, 2026, repealed the Code sections formerly codified at this chapter and enacted the current chapter. The former chapter consisted of Code Sections 50-39-1 through 50-39-5 (Article 1), 50-39-10 through 50-39-18 (Article 2), 50-39-30 through 50-39-40 (Article 3), 50-39-50 through 50-39-53 (Article 4), and 50-39-60 and 50-39-61 (Article 5), relating to Atlanta-region Transit Link “ATL” Authority, and was based on Ga. L. 2006, p. 498, § 2/SB 150; Ga. L. 2018, p. 377, §§ 2-1, 4-13/HB 930; Ga. L. 2019, p. 1056, § 50/SB 52; Ga. L. 2020, p. 493, § 50/SB 429; Ga. L. 2020, p. 685, §§ 1-5/HB 511.
