Ga. L. 1990, p. 8, § 55, repealed Ga. L. 1989, p. 370, § 10A, which provided that this chapter should not apply to a person or agreement involving an athlete and an amateur athletic team.

OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL Limited applicability of provisions of chapter. —Legal entities and individuals who seek to obtain collegiate athletic scholarships for high school athletes do not fall under the provisions of O. C. G. A. §§ 20-2-317 and 20-2-318, or the 2003 amendments to O. C. G. A. § 43-4-1 et seq. 2004 Op. Att’y Gen. No. U2004-1.
