Opinion Notes
OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL Article does not repeal Ch. 2, T. 25. —While the statutory provisions of detention deals, in part, with the same subject matter as the fire safety standards set forth in Ch. 2, T. 25 for certain jails, the General Assembly, in enacting these provisions, apparently did not intend to impliedly amend Ga. L. 1949, p. 1057, § 1 (see now O. C. G. A. Ch. 2, T. 25) and such construction is not necessary for a reasonable interpretation of the detention provisions. 1980 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 80-66.
