JUDICIAL DECISIONS
Article’s purpose. —The legislature, in making it a crime to park in specified areas or fashions by the road, enacted the law for the benefit of all persons who might meet or follow the parked vehicle, and the law’s purpose was to avoid collisions by persons coming from behind the parked vehicle and those meeting the parked vehicle. O'Pry v. Goodman, 132 Ga. App. 191, 207 S. E.2d 674, 1974 Ga. App. LEXIS 1643 (1974).
