§ 50-3-87. Official State Mammal
Universal Citation: GA Code § 50-3-87 (2022)
The white-tailed deer ( Odocoileus virginianus ) is designated as the official Georgia state mammal.
History. Code 1981, § 50-3-87 , enacted by Ga. L. 2015, p. 129, § 1/HB 70.
Effective date. —
This Code section became effective July 1, 2015.
