Chapter 15 - Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
§ 43-15-7. Unlawful Practice as a Professional Engineer or Land Surveyor
Universal Citation: GA Code § 43-15-7 (2022)
- It shall be unlawful for any person other than a professional engineer to practice or to offer to practice professional engineering in this state.
- It shall be unlawful for any person other than a professional land surveyor to practice or to offer to practice land surveying in this state.
- It shall be unlawful for any person other than a professional structural engineer to practice or to offer to practice structural engineering in this state.

The 2018 amendment, effective July 1, 2018, inserted “professional” in subsection (b).
The 2020 amendment, effective January 1, 2021, added subsection (c).
