§ 4-11-33. Penalty for Violation

  1. A person convicted of any of the offenses defined in subsections (a) and (b) of Code Section 4-11-32 shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $10,000.00 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed three years, or both.
  2. Any person violating subsection (c) or (c.1) of Code Section 4-11-32 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
