§ 33-34A-12. Adoption of Rules and Regulations

Universal Citation: GA Code § 33-34A-12 (2022)

The Commissioner shall adopt rules and regulations which include disclosures for the benefit of the warranty holder, record keeping, and procedures for public complaints. Such rules and regulations shall also include the conditions under which surplus lines insurers may be rejected for the purpose of underwriting vehicle protection product warranty agreements.

History. Code 1981, § 33-34A-12 , enacted by Ga. L. 2003, p. 644, § 1; Ga. L. 2019, p. 386, § 115/SB 133.

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, substituted “shall adopt rules and regulations which include” for “may adopt such administrative rules consistent with the provisions of this chapter as are necessary to implement them. Such rules and regulations shall include” near the beginning of this Code section.
