§ 15-10-262. Prosecutorial Procedure

Universal Citation: GA Code § 15-10-262 (2022)
  1. Prosecution for misdemeanor violations authorized in this article may proceed by citation, summons, arrest, citation and arrest, or by arrest warrant as provided in Chapter 4 of Title 17, or by an accusation as provided in Code Section 17-7-71.
  2. The solicitor-general of counties having solicitors-general, or the county attorney or another attorney designated by the county governing authority, may act as the prosecuting attorney of the magistrate court in proceedings under this article.
