§ 33-27-9. Notices of Life Insurance Premium Increases to Be Mailed or Delivered to Group Life Insurance Policyholder

Notice of the maximum amount of a group life insurance premium increase shall be mailed or delivered to the group policyholder and to each employer group or subgroup insured under the group policy not less than 60 days prior to the effective date of the premium increase.

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, inserted "life insurance" near the beginning of this Code section.

- Ga. L. 1990, p. 1402, § 6, not codified by the General Assembly, provides that this Code Section shall be applicable to all contracts or policies of insurance issued or renewed on or after October 1, 1990.
