Chapter 4 - Georgia Police Academy
§ 35-4-6. Selection, Powers, and Duties of Superintendent of Academy

Universal Citation: GA Code § 35-4-6 (2020)
  1. The board shall hire a superintendent of the academy whose duties shall be to administer the policies and programs of the board regarding the academy.
  2. The superintendent shall be responsible to the board for the management and control of the academy and shall report directly to the board.
  3. In administering the policies and programs of the board, the superintendent shall seek the assistance of the State Board of Education, which is authorized and directed to cooperate and work with the superintendent.
