§ 25-10-12. Additional Grounds for Revocation or Suspension, Refusal, or Nonrenewal of Licence

Universal Citation: GA Code § 25-10-12 (2020)
  1. In addition to the grounds set forth in Code Section 25-10-11, it is cause for revocation or suspension, refusal, or nonrenewal by the Safety Fire Commissioner of any license issued under this chapter if it is determined that the licensee or applicant has:
    1. Failed to comply with all the requirements of this chapter or the rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto;
    2. Failed to maintain the minimum insurance coverage as set forth in this chapter;
    3. Made a material misstatement or misrepresentation or committed a fraud in obtaining or attempting to obtain a license; or
    4. Failed to notify the Safety Fire Commissioner, in writing, within 30 days after a change of residence, principal business address, or name.
  2. In addition to other grounds set forth in this Code section, the Safety Fire Commissioner shall not issue a new license under this chapter if the Safety Fire Commissioner finds that the circumstance or circumstances for which the license was previously suspended or revoked still exist or are likely to recur.
