Article 2 - Formation
§ 14-11-201. Purpose

Universal Citation: GA Code § 14-11-201 (2020)
  1. A limited liability company may be formed under this chapter for any lawful purpose.If the purpose for which a limited liability company is formed makes it subject to a special provision of law, the limited liability company shall also comply with that provision.
  2. A limited liability company formed under this chapter has, unless a more limited purpose is set forth in the articles of organization or a written operating agreement, the purpose of engaging in any lawful activity.
