53-8-44. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Sale of reversionary interests in real property set apart as dower; applicability of Code section to rights of way and easements


No administrator or executor shall be authorized to sell the reversionary interest in the real property set apart as dower during the lifetime of the widow unless it is necessary to pay debts. However, rights of way and easements may be conveyed as provided in Code Sections 53-8-39 through 53-8-43.
