53-8-38. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Private sale of notes and other evidence of indebtedness


Whenever any guardian, administrator, executor, trustee, or other fiduciary holds any note or other evidence of indebtedness, he may sell and transfer the same, along with the collateral and other security, if any, securing the same, at private sale, without any order of court, provided he shall receive therefor the full face value of the note or other evidence of indebtedness.
