53-7-101. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Duty of administrator or executor to recover debts due estate; effect of neglect or indulgence


An administrator or executor is bound to bring an action to recover every debt due the estate which he may reasonably expect to recover. If by his neglect or indulgence the debt is barred by the lapse of time or is otherwise lost to the estate, he shall be responsible therefor.
