53-3-1. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Exclusivity of jurisdiction of probate court; county of testator's residence


(a) The probate court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the probate of wills.

(b) The residence of the testator at his death shall give jurisdiction to the judge of the probate court of that county.
