§ 20-2-1032 - Encouragement of formal partnerships and individual volunteering

20-2-1032. Encouragement of formal partnerships and individual volunteering


(a) Business, industry, community based, and civic organizations are encouraged to form formal partnerships with the local public schools and school systems in their communities.

(b) State and local government agencies are encouraged and authorized to form formal partnerships with the local public schools and school systems in their communities. Such agencies are authorized and encouraged to provide release time for their employees to work with the public schools in their communities.

(c) Individuals, including students, are encouraged to contribute their time and talent through volunteering to assist Georgia's public school students and schools.
