2006 Georgia Code - 9-3-2
9-3-2. Any claim or demand held by any municipality not
in the nature of a special contract or not reduced to execution
shall be barred by the general statutes of limitation of force, and
all executions issued by any municipality shall be subject to the
same laws relating to the statutes of limitation governing other
executions.
