2006 Georgia Code - 7-3-5
7-3-5. A loan and brokerage transaction or any other
transaction by which money is paid or agreed to be paid others by
the borrower in order to obtain the loan shall be subject in all
respects to this chapter, if it involves a transaction of $3,000.00
or less and is not otherwise specifically exempted by the terms of
this chapter; and the interest and money paid or agreed to be paid
others by the borrower in order to obtain the loan shall not exceed
the charges authorized by this chapter, and the application of Code
Section 7-4-8 is modified accordingly.
