2006 Georgia Code - 51-14-4

51-14-4. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, with respect to any asbestos claim or silica claim not barred as of April 12, 2005, the limitations period shall not begin to run until the exposed person or any plaintiff making an asbestos claim or silica claim based on the exposed persońs exposure to asbestos or silica discovers, or through the exercise of reasonable diligence should have discovered, that the exposed person is or was physically impaired as defined in paragraph (15) or (16) of Code Section 51-14-2.
