2006 Georgia Code - 50-8-96

50-8-96. A commission shall review all applications of municipalities, counties, authorities, commissions, boards, or agencies within the area for a loan or grant from the United States, the State of Georgia, or any agency thereof if review by a region-wide agency or body is required by federal or state law, rule, or regulation. In each case requiring review, the municipality, county, authority, commission, board, or agency shall, prior to submitting its application to the United States or State of Georgia or agency thereof, transmit the same to the commission for its review. The comments of the commission shall then become a part of the application, to be appended thereto when finally submitted for the consideration of the United States, the State of Georgia, or any agency thereof.
