2006 Georgia Code - 44-2-236

44-2-236. Upon request of any person and the payment of lawful fees, the clerk shall issue a certified copy of any certificate of title or of any entry thereon in like manner as he may issue certified copies of any other public record in his office; but, whenever he does so, he shall plainly mark in large legible letters across the face of the certificate the word 'copy.' If a certified copy of a canceled certificate or entry is made, in addition to transcribing a copy of the entry of cancellation, the clerk shall also plainly mark the words 'canceled certificate' or 'canceled entry,' as the case may be, across the face of the copy.
