2006 Georgia Code - 33-18-29

33-18-29. Any dissolution or liquidation of any medical service corporation subject to this chapter shall be under the supervision of the Commissioner. In case of dissolution of any medical service corporation formed under this chapter, claims of certificate holders of the medical service corporation shall be given priority over all other claims except the costs of liquidation. Any assets remaining after satisfaction of all claims of certificate holders and payments of all costs of liquidation may be used only to carry out the original purposes for which the medical service corporation was chartered.
