2006 Georgia Code - 33-17-7

33-17-7. (a) The certificate of authority to transact business of a reciprocal insurer shall be issued to its attorney in the name of the insurer. (b) The Commissioner may refuse, suspend, or revoke the certificate of authority to transact business, in addition to other grounds for refusal, suspension, or revocation, for failure of the attorney to comply with any provision of this title. (c) The certificate shall be renewed annually and shall be issued and renewed upon payment of the fees required of insurers under this title. (d) Each holder of a certificate of authority to transact business of a reciprocal insurer shall pay all fees required by this title and shall pay all of the taxes required by law to be paid by companies doing a like business in this state.
