2006 Georgia Code - 2-7-8
2-7-8. The Commissioner may purchase all necessary
materials, supplies, office and field equipment, and other things
and may make such other expenditures as may be essential and
necessary in carrying out this article, within the limits of the
amount appropriated by law.
