2006 Georgia Code - 2-7-65
2-7-65. The Commissioner may cooperate, receive
grants-in-aid, and enter into cooperative agreements with any
agency of the federal government, of this state or its
subdivisions, or of another state for the following purposes,
without exclusion: (1) To
secure uniformity of regulations; (2) To enter into cooperative agreements with
the Environmental Protection Agency to register pesticides under
the authority of this article and FIFRA; (3) To cooperate in the enforcement of the
federal pesticide control laws through the use of state or federal
personnel and facilities or any combination thereof and to
implement cooperative enforcement programs including, but not
limited to, the registration and inspection of
establishments; (4) To enter
into a contract for monitoring pesticides for the national plan;
and (5) To prepare and submit
state plans to meet federal certification standards or for issuing
experimental use permits.
