2006 Georgia Code - 18-4-5

18-4-5. (a) Any party of record to a proceeding under this chapter who may be affected materially thereby may challenge the sufficiency of any bond required or permitted by this chapter. Such challenge shall be made by motion to require additional security; and, if upon hearing the same the court shall determine that the security upon the bond is inadequate for the purposes for which the bond is filed, an order shall be entered requiring the person filing the bond to furnish additional security within seven days of the date of the order. (b) The original surety shall not be discharged from his liability on the bond until another surety is approved.
