2006 Georgia Code - 18-4-46

18-4-46. Any other provisions of this chapter to the contrary notwithstanding, no part of the personal earnings of the defendant shall be subject to garnishment prior to judgment, whether such earnings be denominated as salary, wages, commissions, or otherwise; and each summons of garnishment which is issued pursuant to this article shall state the substance of this Code section upon the face thereof.
