2006 Georgia Code - 16-10-96

16-10-96. Any person who shall falsely represent or impersonate another and in such assumed character answer as a witness to interrogatories or do any other act in the course of any action, proceeding, or prosecution or in any other way, matter, or thing, whereby the person so impersonated or represented, or any other person, might suffer damage, loss, or injury shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by confinement for not less than one year nor more than five years.
