401.271 Certification of emergency medical technicians and paramedics who are on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United States; spouses of members of the Armed Forces.—Any member of the Armed Forces of the United States on active duty who, at the time he or she became a member, was in good standing with the department and was entitled to practice as an emergency medical technician or paramedic in the state remains in good standing without registering, paying dues or fees, or performing any other act, as long as he or she is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States on active duty and for a period of 6 months after his or her discharge from active duty as a member of the Armed Forces of the United States.
